You should avoid Norton antivirus/anti-malware like the plague. They claim to be this good company and protect you from the dangers of the web. However, from many users’ experiences, they are very anti-consumer. I can also vouch for the fact that they are very anti-consumer and anti-privacy. Users have requested to delete their accounts and all associated data and yet the company refuses and claims that they are not legally allowed to. Of course, you can’t delete it yourself either.
Norton antivirus has been getting a bad reputation more and more every year. They’ve been caught installing “features” that nobody wants and that you can’t disable no matter what you do. The program also has been caught using system resources unnecessarily. Do yourself a favor and if you’re within the return period get yourself a refund and get a different antivirus/anti-malware.
Do not trust Norton.
